Weekend-Recap....

Yes I realize it is only Saturday.....but tonight is the end of my weekend because tomorrow begins my "holiday"!! Yep Yep we leave tomorrow and head to England! I am so super excited! I did really well with the whole packing thing (which I get really OCD about) and I only repacked once! Thats probably a record for me since I usually pack and repack 1,000 times!!! I think the hubby was quite impressed!
So onto the recap. We will start this weekend where the last blog left off...Thursday night. Chris and I met up with some friends and friends of friends to watch the MSU v Memphis game. Oh and Opus came too! So we watch our bulldogs stomp all over the University of Memphis and it was fantastic! We had our cowbell and I got the table to sing in one round of "Hail State" which was much harder than I thought it would be....but anyway..
The boys ready for the game!

Met up with Ms. Esther @ the Brickhouse

I promised a new "family" pic in the last post so here it is! (cowbell included)
So that was super fantastic and we loved every minute of it! I didn't take any pictures once the game started so I didn't get any pictures with our friend Brian, but he was there.
So a fantastic Thursday lead to an AMAZING Friday. My friend Katie came and got me and we went shopping. I haven't been shopping (for me to actually buy anything) in FOREVER. It was great to get out and go running around with Katie. Love that girl! We even got to get lunch and go to the grocery store. We went to Kroger and if you know anything about me and "my" Kroger you know I love it. I think I could go there every day (okay maybe not, but I do love going to my Kroger). Chris also got home early which was super great. I love when my hubby comes home early. I had also got the bags just about packed....a few things here and there were missing but they were pretty good. Friday night we met up with Katie to watch Hazel Green High School play their football game. They were playing at Bob Jones High School. Katie's hubby coaches Hazel Green and we love football so we went! Ummm....I have been to several (numerous) high school football games at many different high schools and I have never seen anything like this. We arrived about 15 minutes to kick off. While walking from the parking lot to the ticket booth I notice this human falling from the sky....It took me a minute but I realized there were parachutters (I dont know what else to call them) landing on the middle of the football field. I mean seriously who has people jumping from planes before their football games? Then as the game gets going it gets crazier. Every time BJHS scored fireworks would go off. BJHS half-time show ended with a quite large firework show. It was UNREAL! They also had a rock climbing wall out (with Marine recruiters of course-it was the military appreciation game). But none the less I have never been to a high school football game like. Unfortunately for the team we were cheering on..they lost, but we still had a great time (minus the concrete seats..OUCH!)
Me with the lovely Katie!

There's Jerrett.

The fireworks ended and he was sad.....
So that was Friday....now onto today (Saturday). Well Chris stayed up all night and watched the replay of the MSU v Memphis game.....I was tired and slept thru most of it. We got up this morning and hit up bootcamp which I was NOT feeling. I just wanted to go back to bed :( But after bootcamp we headed to Katie and Jerrett's house to watch some more football and eat some food. But let's be honest I couldn't wait to get to their house to meet their newest addition to the family....Lily! (pictures of Lily below)...I want a Lily and I working on Chris to let me get a Lily!
LILY!

Eating some Cheerios!
I mean come on! Who doesn't want a pet pig! She is so adorable!! And Katie says she is so smart and completely house trained! Yes Please!
So anyway we watch a LOT of football today....I mean we are still watching football. Rooting on the SEC. So far today it has been a good day for the SEC...except for TSUN....but I mean did we expect anything else? Sorry rebels...maybe one year.....
But seriously the only two teams that didn't win their games this weekend in the SEC were Ole Miss and Georgia. Mississippi State (Go Bulldogs), LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky all won there games. I would include Texas A&M just for future practice but they don't play until tomorrow.

Well thats all for tonight! I will try to blog (maybe) when I am over in the UK! I can't believe I am going! It is so crazy!!!
