Is it the weekend yet?

I feel like this week has absolutely dragged on FOREVER! Which is super crazy seeing that it already started out as a "short week" because of the MLK holiday. I feel like this week has been 16 days long...booo!!!!!!
Well anyway the hubby will be home soon and the weekend can begin :). I love getting to spend time with him and I am so excited when the weekend gets here! No plans this weekend just hanging around and getting to spend some time together. It is super cold out there today and my 2 mile walk was FREEZING! I think its suppossed to be that cold through the weekend which does not make me want to get out in it at all :(
They keep calling for more snow too. But I am hoping that we dont get anymore snow since I dont like snow days when the hubby has to go work :(
However next weekend AMELIA TREPTOW comes to see us! I am soooooo soooooo very excited! I haven't seen her in SO SO LONG so I am really excited! Christopher says he is excited too!! We both adore Amelia :)
Hmmm....well I dont have much more left to say today. So I'm off.....

Snow Days with the Hubby are the BEST!

Chris, Opus and I in the snow!

For the past two days I have been stuck in the apartment with none other but the bestest husband in the world! They have been some really great days! We got to sleep in, play in the amazing snow, do some yummy cooking, and just really spend some quality time together in our new home. I told him it was liking the honeymoon all over again, just with snow instead of a beach. It was really nice to not have to run errands, or go somewhere, etc. and just spend time in together and not feel like we have wasted a day.

Kiss kiss in the snow.
I was SUPER excited for snow!

Unfortunately he has to go back to work tomorrow (BOOO) :( But that will give me time to get the apartment back in order before this weekend when my lovely in-laws are coming to visit! We are super excited that they are getting to come and see our home! Momma E. hasn't seen the place yet, and Dad E. hasn't seen it since the boxes have been unpacked! We are very excited to get to spend some time with them in our new home! Can't wait for them to get here!!

Lovely In-Laws!

In another things.....I have finally started in on my wedding scrapbooking.....I have a feeling that it will be a LONG journey, but I have really enjoyed getting to relive some of the greatest moments of my life through the pictures that I have. The other night (during the BCS National Championship game) I got about 8 pages completed.....I know it doesn't seem like much but trust me that it is a BIG accomplishment for me....plus I was distracted a lot while watching the SEC win another National Championship!!!
I am hoping that by February or March I will have completed the scrapbook. As it stands right now I have completed the first bridal showers.....I have started on the wedding day, rehearsal dinner, and pre-wedding week festivities. But by started I mean 1-3 pages.......I spent 3 hours last Friday dividing up pictures from our wedding day and trying to get them in order of the actual wedding before scrapbooking (lets keep in mind that I get distracted very easily so some of that time is just due random distractions).
So I got a cricut machine as a wedding gift, and while it was given to both Chris and I we all know that it was for me! :) I LOVE MY CRICUT MACHINE!! Chris was really excited about it too, mainly because I was thrilled, but when I broke it out the other night he had fun watching me play with it!

This is my organized mess.....

Hmmm...Also this past weekend we got to go to a wedding. Theresa and Chris' (not my Chris) wedding! We had such a great time! Theresa was a beautiful bride and we burned LOTS of calories dancing the night away at the reception. We danced a lot. Christopher busted out dance moves that I had NEVER seen him break out before! It was fantastic and we had such a great time. We danced so much that by the end of the night when we finally got home and got in bed it hurt to move....we were so sore the next day too! But we had a great time! Thanks Chris and Theresa Bupp!!!!

Cute Cake Topper that Theresa made!

So on that note I am off........tomorrow will be a typical Wednesday, but at least it is only a few days till the weekend!!!! Have a great day!

"Seen a lot of cowbells today. Not a lot of cows."

Mississippi State won the GATOR BOWL today!!!
What a great way to bring in 2011!!!!!!! Go Bulldogs!
Needless to say we are super SUPER excited! We just wish ESPN would share in our excitement and love of MSU football....but at the same time I say who cares what ESPN thinks! Maybe that just makes our win that much sweeter for the Bulldog Family! I am so proud of our bulldogs! I wish I was in Starkville right now welcoming them back home! I can only imagine how awesome it is to be welcomed in by adoring fans! I really love how we are a bulldog family! We really stick together no matter what and what a sweet time to share in this wonderful bowl victory!

Since we were not able to make it to Jacksonville for the bowl game (extremely sad) we decided to have some of our MSU friends overs for a in home "tailgate". I was told I went a bit overboard for only have 3 guest coming, but I was just excited it was hard to reign me in! We had all sorts of yummies! And I got to use my 2 new MSU plates that we got for Christmas! Below are some pictures from our little tailgate!

Esther, Greysen, and Brian joined Christopher, Opus and I to cheer on our bulldogs!

What a great time to share with friends!

So Christmas and New Years were great fun! We got to go to Memphis and visit our families which was really nice!
Below are some pictures from our Christmas Adventures!

So for New Years Eve/Day Christopher and I talked about traditions we wanted to start. On New Years Eve we decided to go get a bite to eat around 2pm. We went to Connor's Steakhouse. It was delicious. We got fed up and watch some bowl games. The rest of the night was spent watching football until Dick Clarks countdown began. We decided to open up the bottle of champagne given to us on our wedding day to toast to the new year. For a small snack (because we were super fed at Connors) we finished off the AWESOME cheeseball that my Aunt Judie made for us Christmas Eve....I was surprised that we made it to midnight but we did!! On New Years Day we got up and went to Krispy Kreme! Yummmy! I read somewhere that you are supposed to eat a food in the shape of a ring for some reason or another so we decided a doughnut would be perfect. It was great to get up and go grab breakfast with just my husband and get to spend some quality time with just him. It was so great that we have decided to make it our tradition! After breakfast we came home and got things set up for our in-home "tailgate" (see above)....we made black-eyed peas for the tailgate to carry on that new year tradition too!
