"Seen a lot of cowbells today. Not a lot of cows."

Mississippi State won the GATOR BOWL today!!!
What a great way to bring in 2011!!!!!!! Go Bulldogs!
Needless to say we are super SUPER excited! We just wish ESPN would share in our excitement and love of MSU football....but at the same time I say who cares what ESPN thinks! Maybe that just makes our win that much sweeter for the Bulldog Family! I am so proud of our bulldogs! I wish I was in Starkville right now welcoming them back home! I can only imagine how awesome it is to be welcomed in by adoring fans! I really love how we are a bulldog family! We really stick together no matter what and what a sweet time to share in this wonderful bowl victory!

Since we were not able to make it to Jacksonville for the bowl game (extremely sad) we decided to have some of our MSU friends overs for a in home "tailgate". I was told I went a bit overboard for only have 3 guest coming, but I was just excited it was hard to reign me in! We had all sorts of yummies! And I got to use my 2 new MSU plates that we got for Christmas! Below are some pictures from our little tailgate!

What a great time to share with friends!

So Christmas and New Years were great fun! We got to go to Memphis and visit our families which was really nice!
Below are some pictures from our Christmas Adventures!

So for New Years Eve/Day Christopher and I talked about traditions we wanted to start. On New Years Eve we decided to go get a bite to eat around 2pm. We went to Connor's Steakhouse. It was delicious. We got fed up and watch some bowl games. The rest of the night was spent watching football until Dick Clarks countdown began. We decided to open up the bottle of champagne given to us on our wedding day to toast to the new year. For a small snack (because we were super fed at Connors) we finished off the AWESOME cheeseball that my Aunt Judie made for us Christmas Eve....I was surprised that we made it to midnight but we did!! On New Years Day we got up and went to Krispy Kreme! Yummmy! I read somewhere that you are supposed to eat a food in the shape of a ring for some reason or another so we decided a doughnut would be perfect. It was great to get up and go grab breakfast with just my husband and get to spend some quality time with just him. It was so great that we have decided to make it our tradition! After breakfast we came home and got things set up for our in-home "tailgate" (see above)....we made black-eyed peas for the tailgate to carry on that new year tradition too!
